The MK Group Company organized winter holidays for 30 of the best final grade elementary school students from Kosovo and Metohija at the Grand Kopaonik Hotel. The children stayed at the hotel from 1 to 6 April, and while enjoying all the hotel’s facilities, they had organized sports activities from swimming to skiing school. The traditional winter holiday action for students from Kosovo and Metohija is being carried out for the 11th time after the break that followed due to the pandemic, and this time with the support of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.
„We are extremely pleased that we hosted the very best students from Kosovo and Metohija in our hotel Grand Kopaonik and organized a sports and recreational program. The best way to start our jubilee on the occasion of 40 years of business is by giving gifts to the youngest. Our socially responsible activities are completely focused on children and young people, because we celebrate the future on the wave of their energy and new knowledge. I am sure that through numerous other projects within the “Family Support” program that MK Group traditionally implements, we will make many new generations happy, because the best is yet to come,” said Aleksandra Stojanović, MK Group Corporate Affairs Director.
The Office for Kosovo and Metohija welcomed this MK Group activity aimed at children and expressed their satisfaction with the successfully organized winter vacation for students from Kosovo and Metohija.

This is why this recreational trip to Kopaonik is very important for them, because in addition to developing and nurturing healthy lifestyles, they have the opportunity to socialize and meet their peers, try out new skills and make memories for a lifetime. That is why we organize numerous trips for them in order to enable them to have a carefree childhood filled with smiles. On this occasion, I would like to especially thank our partners from MK Group who recognized the needs of our children from Kosovo and Metohija and provided them with this atmosphere. For all of us, their smile and happiness are the greatest satisfaction”, said Svetlana Miladinov, assistant director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.
Caring for children and young people is one of MK Group’s main priorities when it comes to social responsibility. Winter holidays for the best students from Kosovo and Metohija is just one of the activities within the CSR program “Family Support”, for which the company will allocate more than 1 million euros this year. Among them, donations of 600,000 euros to kindergartens in Serbia and the region, which were announced last week, stand out. MK Group will mark the anniversary year with other projects aimed at providing better conditions for the education and development of children who represent our future.
