We are committed to achieving carbon neutrality, which is clearly demonstrated by the fact that, in the last three years, we have recorded a continuous reduction of carbon dioxide emissions on the level of the entire MK Group system. We will make a special contribution in the coming period through new investments in energy generation from renewable sources.

Caring about the community

We are committed to developing the local communities in which we operate. We have committed to allocating EUR 5 million for socially responsible activities in the next 5 years. We will continue expanding our “Family Support” regional philanthropic programme to provide support for children and parents, as well as measures to stimulate the birth rate. We remain focused on education, healthcare and assistance to vulnerable social groups.

Miodrag Kostić Foundation

With a grant of EUR 25 million, the Miodrag Kostić Foundation will open the first centre for research and the popularisation of science in Serbia – the Palace of Science. On more than 5,500 m2, it will offer visitors a range of scientific content, along with 19 research centres of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade.

Donations to kindergartens

The MK Group and AIK Bank donated to 20 kindergartens in Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro and Croatia during 2023. Donations in the total amount of EUR 680,000 were used to renovate and equip preschool institutions so that children could have the best conditions and the most creative environment possible.

ESG management

We have a strategic approach to managing ESG topics: we have defined five-year goals, established a system for non-financial reporting, and formed an ESG structure and a team that will be responsible for managing ESG risks and opportunities.
