MK Group donated help those affected by the earthquake in Croatia.

The devastating earthquakes that hit Sisak-Moslavina, Zagreb and Karlovac Counties left few indifferent. A big heart in those most difficult moments was once again shown by our Company MK Group and the Croatian Skiper Resort, which operates as part of the group with a donation of RSD 7 920 000 to repair effects and damage caused by the earthquake and help the vulnerable population. The financial means were paid to the account of the Solidarna Foundation, which launched an urgent donation campaign to raise funds for crisis support to earthquake victims in Petrinja and the entire Sisak-Moslavina County. This laudable initiative of the President of the MK Group Miodrag Kostić and the Vice President Aleksandar Kostić clearly shows that the future is not built without joint solidarity, which further confirms the social responsibility of our Company as one of its core values.

Throughout the past year marked by the global pandemic, MK Group has provided aid to institutions for the procurement of necessary medical equipment, as well as support to health professionals and vulnerable groups throughout the region. As part of the project “For Heroes of the Region”, after the first wave of the pandemic, 450 medical workers from the region were provided a well-deserved vacation in the Istrian hotel Kempinski Adriatic in Savudrija, as well as in other luxury hotels we own.

Since its establishment, MK Group has continuously provided support in 123 communities in which it operates, and last year alone the said help amounted to more than one million euros, which makes it the most socially responsible company in 2020, declared by the Serbian Association of Managers.
