After the VIRTUS award for contribution to philanthropy at the national level and the award of the Serbian Association of Managers for the Socially Responsible Company in 2020, MK Group is the winner of the accolade for social responsibility for supporting health institutions and health workers in preventing and combating the Covid 19 pandemic, awarded by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
„Corporate social responsibility has become part of the business strategy of companies and it has been shown that companies that consistently apply the principles of employee safety and health, environmental protection and circular economy, partnership with the local community, are more competitive, productive and profitable because they create new value and gain good reputation “, said Mihailo Vesović, Director of the Sector for Strategic Analysis of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce at the award ceremony.
For the eighth time, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce awarded the Đorđe Vajfert (Georg Weifert) National Award for Corporate Social Responsibility to companies that have shown the greatest commitment to the principles of social responsibility in Serbia. Fifteen companies were awarded, and this year awards were given for contributions in certain areas of social responsibility.
