At the 89th International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, MK Group had a prominent presentation thanks to its member companies which received 46 awards for their products in various categories.
The Carnex Meat Industry won the Grand Champion Cup for top quality and a wide range of products, 12 Grand Gold Medals, 22 gold medals, and as many as 9 products won the title of Champion of the Product Group, while Flora, which operates under the auspices of PIK Bečej, member of MK Group, won awards in the categories Frozen Peas 450g, Frozen Sweet Corn 450g and Sterilized Corn 425ml.
We are especially glad that also this year, our Liver Pate won the Grand Gold Medal and took the title of Quality Champion of the entire Pate Group, thus showing once again that it is the undisputed leader in its category. Carnex Liver Pate is the best example of true consumer confidence in the brand which has managed to remain authentic for more than 60 years and nurture the original Carnex taste and quality respected by consumers, “said Tamara Penjić, CEO of Carnex Meat Industry, during the awards ceremony in Novi Sad. So far, MK Group, within which Carnex operates, has invested 85 million euros in the development of the meat industry

Frozen peas and corn, as well as sterilized corn, are items that are recognized among consumers in both domestic and foreign markets. In addition to the traditional export of products to the market of the Russian Federation, Flora exports its products to the region, the European Union, the Middle East and South America, “said Zoran Krunić, Commercial Director of PIK Bečej, within which Flora operates.
The awards given to MK Group at the Novi Sad Agricultural Fair as one of the most important agribusiness events in Central and Southeast Europe, are another indicator of the leading position of this company in the field of agriculture throughout the region.
