Since 2022, Željko Stašević has held the position of cluster general manager of Kempinski Hotel Adriatic and Kempinski Palace Portorož.

With more than 25 years of international experience in the hotel industry, managing high-class luxury hotels, Michelin restaurants, bars and golf clubs, Mr Stašević gained expertise in team leadership with motivation and an innovative approach, which he successfully continued at Kempinski Hotel Adriatic and Kempinski Palace Portorož. His contribution is best reflected in the successful operation of the Kempinski Hotel in Istria, which, under his management, records constant growth year after year, along with continuous, successful maintenance of the hotel’s image as a catering and hotel industry institution. The merits for his work have been recognised internationally, with both hotels winning the prestigious World Luxury Awards this year for the best Incentive Hotel in Croatia, the best Suite Henry Morgan and the best MICE hotel in Slovenia.

Željko Stašević graduated in hotel management at the University of Belgrade.
