Crowne Plaza Beograd – Mihailo Janković, General Manager of MK Group, participated in the Panel “Integration of the Western Balkans – Economic Relations between Serbia and Slovenia” within the Serbia-Slovenia Business Forum, which brought together representatives of the largest companies from Serbia and Slovenia.
„MK Group has been present in Slovenia since 2015 since the acquisition of the Palace Hotel Portorož, through investments in Portorož Airport and the takeover of Hete Asset Resolution, now Monetica. We see great potential in Slovenia and so far we have invested a total of 210 million euros, and we are working on real estate projects with a value of potential investments of over 300 million euros, “said Mihailo Jankovic, General Manager of MK Group.
Representatives of the Serbian and Slovenian economies agreed that faster economic integration of the Western Balkans into the European Union is a priority, and the model of the single market and common economic space with the European Union, following the example of the Scandinavian countries, should serve as an example.
