The company MK Group, owner of the hotels, will invest €20 million to upgrade facilities and develop Adriatic Istria Resort in Savudrija and Hotel Palace in Portorož.
MK Group, one of the leading investors and a leader in tourism development in the Adria region, has signed hotel management agreements with the global hotel owner and operator Minor Hotels. Thanks to this cooperation, Minor Hotels expands its global portfolio and is entering the Croatian and Slovenian markets for the first time, continuing to grow its global presence through strategic development in key destinations. The current hotel in Savudrija will operate as a resort under the Anantara brand, one of the world’s leading luxury hotel brands, known for top standards, attention to detail and a strong focus on personalized guest service. A special focus of this transformation from a hotel location to a resort destination will be on spa and wellness services.
