For the ninth consecutive year, MK Group and AIK Group organized the traditional “Support to Family” event, dedicated to recognizing employees who welcomed a new child during the current year. This year, 11.5 million dinars were allocated for 170 newborns, while over the past nine years, more than 1,000 families and a total of 1,800 babies have received support amounting to over 81.5 million dinars. The event gathered numerous employees with their children, who enjoyed a specially prepared entertainment program and activities. In addition, the companies provided New Year’s vouchers for all employees’ children, with a total value exceeding 35.5 million dinars.
At the employee event, Aleksandar Kostić, President of MK Group and Vice President of the Board of Directors of AIK Group, also announced significant increases in financial support that will be allocated for employees’ future babies starting next year.
“Behind each of the 170 babies born this year in the families of our colleagues lies a story of new beginnings, joy, and hope. That is why we are proud to have welcomed them with support totaling 11.5 million dinars, with a sincere wish to make the first days of their lives a little easier and more beautiful. Over the years, through the ‘Support to Family’ program, we have provided assistance to our employees’ families and demonstrated that we stand by them not only when they achieve professional success, but also when they take on the most important role in life – the role of a parent. We will continue investing in people and the communities in which we operate, because we believe that supporting families is the most important investment in the future,” said Aleksandra Stojanović, Member of the Board of Directors of MK Group.

The “Support to Family” program was launched in 2017 as an internal initiative aimed at recognizing employees who welcome a new child during the year. Over time, the idea emerged to expand the program externally through donations that support family policies, parents, children, and young people across the Adria region. Together, MK Group and AIK Group have implemented numerous donations in the countries in which they operate – Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, and Slovenia. In previous years, donations were made to seven maternity hospitals with a total value of 570,000 euros, 20 kindergartens received 680,000 euros, while four student dormitories received a total of 350,000 euros. The companies will continue their socially responsible activities in the years to come.
