Meat Industry Carnex, which is part of MK Group, got prestigious Halal certification for food quality and safety based on a number of conducted and controlled processes in production process, approved by the Agency for certification.
Three Carnex’s products were certified in the first phase: beef goulash, Dry beef tenderloin and Dry beeftenderloin with garlic, and following are in plan for certification: chicken beef and fish ranges.
- Halal standard is based on the proactive-preventive methods and is compatible with other international standards that govern the production of a quality management of production (ISO, HACCP and others. Receiving Certification and meeting "Halal" standard is an additional confirmation of the quality of the Carnex product and will enable Carnex to significantly expand the market and increase exports of products, primarily to markets of states with majority of population of Islamic religion.
