In the panel Corporate Digital Transformation organized within the investment, innovation and entrepreneurship Belgrade Venture Forum, Dušan Radičević, MK Group’s CFO, said that the main goal of digitization is to increase the efficiency of business operations.
“If it comes to tourism, digitization is important, but it cannot provide high profitability”, said Radičević. He pointed out that the question is not whether to start the digitalization process, but when to start it. Digitization is essential for the survival of companies. Companies that did not start with digitalization are running late”.
He added that good examples of digitalization that increases profitability could be found in the agriculture, as exporting factories would not be able to organize this process without IT technology and digitization.
Apart from Mr. Radičević, the panel was attended by Goran Pitić, President of the Board of Societe Generale and Eli Mizroch, CEO of Silver Castle.
