The conference topics included the potentials of using new technologies in business, how technologies have changed traditional industries and recent trends in national development innovation policies.
“It is necessary to fully implement the existing technology which primarily refers to data and ownership of the same. I will cite an example that we, in MK Group, have tested various innovations in the field of agriculture – from flying drones to satellites recording the land parcelization. All of our trucks are tracked online. We have significantly accelerated the processes, but it is necessary to extract the added value from the data we use. It is necessary for the state to create a register of all agricultural estates, which would significantly improve the business operations” said Aleksandar Bijelić, CDO of MK Group.
The other participants were Ivan Bjelajac from MV Workshop and Milan Bašić from Ericsson Sweden. The conference was organized by Color Media Communications under the auspices of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, in cooperation with the Cabinet of the Minister for Innovation and Technological Development.
