More than a Million and a Half Dinars for the Institute for Health Protection of Children and Youth of Vojvodina

The Company MK Group and AIK Bank donated 1,600,000 dinars for the purchase of medical equipment for the Institute for Health Protection of Children and Youth of Vojvodina. Considering that even before the epidemic of the Covid-19 virus, this Institution hospitalized about 14,000 young people a year, help was more than needed.

„With this donation, MK Group once again showed its social responsibility and its values in practice. Whenever we are able, we will provide support to institutions that need that help, and now they the priority are the health institutions. I will remind you that MK Group is one of the founders of the “Magnet for Love” Foundation, on whose initiative at the end of 2018, 400,000 euros were collected for the purchase of supporting equipment for the Institute for Health Protection of Children and Youth of Vojvodina in Novi Sad, so this donation is part of our continuous multi-year cooperation with this Institution “, said Aleksandra Stojanović, Director of Corporate Affairs of MK Group.

The Institute is a health and scientific-educational institution for children of Vojvodina from 0 to 18 years of age, and it also provides the most complex health procedures.

„This donation means a lot to us at the Institute, considering that we always need more quality medical equipment in order to provide appropriate treatment to our children and youth. Although at the moment we are all preoccupied with the new Covid-19 epidemic and the treatment of such patients, we must think about adequate care for all other patients and that is why we are immensely grateful to MK Group and AIK Bank “, said Doc. Dr. Jelena Antić, PhD, Acting Director of the Institute for Health Protection of Children and Youth of Vojvodina in Novi Sad.

Since its founding, MK Group has continuously provided support in 123 communities in which it operates, and last year alone, more than one million euros were allocated, mostly to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as to support health workers. Due to its outstanding results, commitment and assistance to the entire society, this Company was declared the most socially responsible company in 2020 by the Serbian Association of Managers.
