Accolade Awarded to MK Group for Donations of Food in 2021

MK Group with its members won the award for donating food to the most vulnerable, contribution to the fight against poverty and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in 2021, which is awarded by the Forum for Responsible Business and the Coalition for Charity.

Flora, Sunoko and Agrounija, MK Group member companies donated their products as part of the “Save Food” initiative and the National Giving Day, which this year is dedicated to collecting food for the most vulnerable. The campaign is organized by the Serbian Philanthropic Forum and the Charity Coalition, led by the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation, with USAID support.

Flora donated over two thousand cans of its vegetable products, Sunoko a ton of sugar, and Agrounija joined the campaign with 1.5 tons of apples and 300 liters of juice. These donations were preceded by a donation from Carnex, a member of MK Group, which was the first company to join the initiative.

As a socially responsible company, we are glad to be part of the Save Food initiative “, said Miloš Mijović, Director of MK Agriculture, which is part of the MK Group system, and under whose auspices the company Flora operates.
