Belgrade, 16 October 2017 – The Austrian company HETA together with the companies HETA Beteiligungen GmbH and ISTRIAN HOTELS, a member of MK Group, have signed an agreement on sale of 100% stake in all Skiper Group companies today. Istrian hotels submitted the best bid on the international tender for the purchase of this luxury complex on the Adriatic, which ended in late September this year. All transaction transactions are expected to be completed in the coming weeks, after which MK Group will have another hotel complex in its portfolio.

Company ISTRIAN HOTELS d.o.o. is a member of MK Group, which owns Grand Hotel & Spa **** and Angella Hotel & Residence – Konaci Sunčevi vrhovi **** at Kopaonik, 88 Rooms Hotel in Belgrade and Hotel Kempinski Palace in Portorož. In addition, MK Group is a minority owner of Budvanska Rivijera Hotel in Montenegro and has a 30% stake in Airport in Portorož. After successful cooperation with Kempinski hotel chain, MK Group has established cooperation with Sheraton Starwood Group chain and plans to open the first Sheraton hotel in Serbia in January 2018. The current total accommodation capacity is 2500 with a tendency of further growth in the forthcoming period.
Skiper group companies are located in one of the most beautiful parts of the Croatian coast, just by the sea, with a beautiful view of the Slovenian and Italian coast.
