Three kindergartens in Primorska were delighted to receive donations from Gorenjska banka and MK Group as part of the regional Family Support project. Children’s play on the Coast will be even more pleasant and enjoyable after the completed renovations, and children will more easily progress in developing their skills. The Koper Kindergarten was delighted with the new sensory room, while the Mavrica Kindergarten in Izola and the Barčica Kindergarten in Portorož were delighted with the renovated children’s playgrounds. Representatives of Gorenjska banka, MK Group, principals and mayors attended the ceremonial openings of new acquisitions in kindergartens. The total value of donations to kindergartens in Slovenia as part of the Family Support project amounts to 150,000 euros, and in the region 750,000 euros.
Director of the Koper Kindergarten, Alenka Rušt: “In our kindergarten, we allow children to be children, our basic goal is to provide quality conditions for their development, and we are really happy that Gorenjska banka and MK Group supported us in these efforts, which made the renovation possible with a donation sensory rooms.’
Director of Mavrica Kindergarten in Izola, Martina Langus: “In the early stages of a child’s development, children’s playgrounds are the most important for the development of motor skills, and we are grateful that Gorenjska banka and MK Group have made it possible with a generous donation to renovate the playground, which is now even safer and more pleasant for playing a child.”
Director of the Barčica Kindergarten in Portorož, Renata Novak: “Kindergarten is children’s first classroom in the world, and we want to provide them with an environment where they can grow and develop. The donation from Gorenjska banka and MK Group will enable the renovation of the children’s playground, which we are really looking forward to.”
Koper Municipality Mayor Aleš Bržan: “The sensory room in Koper Kindergarten is an excellent asset for the education of our children. We must be aware that in the field of upbringing and education there is an ever-increasing need for individual monitoring and help for children, and the sensory room is one of the tools that significantly helps our children in their development. That is why we are grateful to Gorenjska banka and MK Group for the donation, which warmed the hearts of both children and kindergarten workers.”
