April 9 2013 The Media Invent and the University of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad together with the Chamber of Commerce in Vojvodina and the regional chambers of commerce in Serbia granted the traditional r “Captain Misa Atanasijevic” award in Matica Srpska in Novi Sad. The “The Best Industrialist in Serbia” award went to Miodrag Kostic, the MK Group President.
The MK Group President Miodrag Kostic launched his private business as many as thirty years ago. Having invested in Serbia and Ukraine and having promoted our country as an attractive investment destination, he managed to transform the difficult period and crisis into an opportunity, and an opportunity into the result which bears the name the MK Group- a business system of 35 companies with some 5.000 employees throughout Serbia and Ukraine.
In 2012 the MK Group recorded 700 million euros of total revenues. However the business success is not only measured by the results and figures. In 2012, the MK Group as a socially responsible company donated 220,000 euros for the construction of the house for the young in SOS Village in Kraljevo.
Miodrag Kostic continues in the same spirit in 2013 with a plan to give his family house, the Foundation of the Kostic family for the use of “Institute for a health care, Children and Youth” in Novi Sad.
