Thirty of the best pupils from the fourth to the seventh grade of primary schools from Kosovo and Metohija traditionally stay at the Grand Kopaonik Hotel, as part of the socially responsible activities that MK Group organizes from year to year. The children stay in the hotel from April 6 to 10, and in addition to enjoying the natural beauty of the most famous Serbian mountain and hiking tours, the best pupils also enjoy the additional benefits of all hotel facilities, from the swimming pool and spa center to specially organized sports activities.
„It is with great pleasure that we reward the best pupils from Kosovo and Metohija with a stay in our hotel Grand Kopaonik. MK Group is carrying out this action for the twelfth time, and this year also in cooperation with the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, to whom we thank for their support. MK Group traditionally carries out socially responsible activities aimed at children and young people, with a special focus on education, and in the next five years the company will allocate five million euros for philanthropy”, said Aleksandra Stojanović, Director of Corporate Affairs of MK Group.
The Office for Kosovo and Metohija also expressed their satisfaction, pointing out that the MK Group Company year after year also thinks of primary school pupils from the south of our country.
„It is a special feeling to see our children happy and smiling, especially when we know that they live in specific conditions and what difficulties they face every day while preserving the Serbian existence in Kosovo and Metohija. Thanks to the socially responsible company MK Group, which recognized this, and I thank the Ski Resorts of Serbia who supported this action. We are pleased to be able to work for our youngest, to brighten up their school days and growing up. For many years, the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, among other things, has supported projects, organizations of various trips, vacations, winter holidays, sports camps for our youngest from the southern Serbian province. In the last three years, we have implemented activities for more than 3,000 children from Kosovo and Metohija, and this is something we are very proud of. It is important to us that our students get to know their country better, develop skills and socialize through these activities. We are here to show them that we support them, that we are together even in difficult times”, said Svetlana Miladinov, Assistant Director of the Office for Foreign Affairs and Trade.
MK Group bases its socially responsible activities on the care of children and young people, and the holiday for the best pupils from Kosovo and Metohija is just one of a series of activities carried out within the “Family Support” program.
