Novi Sad, December 24, 2018 – MK Group has allocated funds in the amount of 2,352,000 dinars for the purchase of FREEZEit software, necessary for the Children’s Hospital in Novi Sad. This donation closed the humanitarian action Magnet for Love and provided complete equipment for a special magnetic resonance department and accompanying equipment at the Children’s Hospital.
As a reminder, the company MK Group was the founder of Magnet for Love Foundation and in the past three years, with the support of numerous partners, the Foundation collected 400,000 eur for the purchase of accompanying equipment for the Children’s Hospital in Novi Sad. For this purpose, the Provincial Government has also provided a million eur for the purchase of magnetic resonance for the Institute for Health Protection of Children and Youth of Vojvodina.
Miodrag Kostić, the President of MK Group, said that MK Group has been a reliable partner to the local community in solving current problems for the sake of the community well-being for 35 years now.
“Children and young people are in the focus of socially responsible activities of MK Group and we are therefore proud of the long-standing cooperation we have with the Institute for Health Care of Children and Youth of Vojvodina”, Kostić said.
In 2013, Miodrag Kostić, the President of MK Group, has given his family house worth 1.5 million eur, as the Endowment of Kostić family in Novi Sad, for use by the Institute for Health Care, Children and Youth of Vojvodina in Novi Sad in cooperation with NURDOR (National Association of Parents of Children with Cancer).
