Four decades of successful work have positioned MK Group at the top of the regional economy. The company performs socially responsible activities in all communities where it operates, and in addition to investing in youth, education and family support, MK Group is also well known for food donations. PIK Bečej member companies, Agrounija, Sunoko and Carnex donated their products to the “Plava ptica” Association and the School of Economics in Kula. Sunoko donated 300 kilograms of white sugar, Agrounija more than 200 tons of apples, and Carnex and PIK Bečej donated more than 1,100 pieces of products from their extensive range.

As one of the largest regional companies in the agricultural and food sector, food donations are certainly part of our socially responsible program, especially to vulnerable groups of the population. “MK Group has committed itself to allocating a minimum of one million euros for social responsibility every year,” said Sanja Savić, Acting Director, Head of the MK Agriculture Division.
