MK Group has rejoiced the girls and boys from the “Youth Community” at the SOS Children’s Village in Kraljevo with New Year’s gifts. The campaign has been traditionally organized since the company built the ” Youth House ” 9 years ago, which permanently provided more humane conditions for growing up of teenagers without parental care, and gifts were presented by Aleksandar Kostić, Vice President of MK Group.
„The cooperation between MK Group and the organization SOS Children’s Villages of Serbia has entered the first decade. From 2012 until today, the company and the Kostić family have been providing us with strong support in creating better living conditions for the children and young people we care about. The construction of the “Youth House” was the first in a series of projects we implemented together, and today, ten years later, the Company MK Group is our reliable partner who supports our work with young people in all segments, but we also have other programs implemented in local communities all over Serbia. We are overjoyed that Mr. Kostić, despite the obligations that follow the end of the year, managed to spend a day socializing and talking with our high school and university students. For them, this is an opportunity to learn in an informal atmosphere from one of the best managers in Serbia, whom, due to the nature of the relationship, they experience as a family member. This meeting took place in the family spirit, ” said Vesna Mraković Jokanović, National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Serbia.
So far, MK Group has invested more than 300,000 euros through various types of aid, such as winter holidays in Kopaonik, sports equipment, educational workshops, IT equipment and many others. So far, more than 60 girls and boys without parental care have stayed in the Youth Community, and currently here are over 20 high school and university students.
