High school and university students, residents of SOS Children’s Village in Kraljevo, visited MK Group where they had an opportunity to meet representatives of the company and gain an insight into their usual working day. Their organized visit also included visit to the club “Privrednik” and on this occasion Miodrag Kostić, President of MK Group presented gifts to them – tablet computers to enable them to achieve even greater success during their studies.
“I’m very glad that MK Group welcomed the youth from the SOS Children’s Village today. Some of them are now former residents of the house because they went to study in other cities outside of Kraljevo and some still reside in the house. My heart is filled with joy because they are on the right path to grow into hardworking young people. The responsibility we feel towards these children did not complete with the construction and donation of the house to SOS Children’s Village in 2012. We continuously take care of them and we already provided employment for several residents in our company. They know they can always count on our support” said Miodrag Kostić, President of MK Group, on this occasion.
“In 2012, MK Group has built the house for the young people at SOS Children’s Village in Kraljevo, which at that time provided accommodation for 15 teenagers without parental care. Interest of MK Group for its tenants did not end with the construction of the house. Also, young people are thinking of us too since today’s visit was their idea. We’re glad they were our guests and that they had an opportunity to become more familiar with our work. We believe they will grow into responsible and hardworking young people and we are here to help them achieve that goal, “said Ljubiša Radenković, CEO of Sunoko.
Project of construction of the house for young people in the SOS Children’s Village in Kraljevo is just one of many projects that MK Group conducted as part of its corporate social responsibility.
