On February 20th 2013, the “Business planet” prize was awarded by the magazines “Ekonometar” and “Biznis” on the occasion of their seven year anniversaries. The President of MK Group, Miodrag Kostić, received the award for successful management of a company.
As the founder of MK group, Mr. Kostić has created a business system comprising of more than 35 companies that employ about 5,000 people in Serbia and the Ukraine and is the largest net exporter in Serbia. MK Group’s total exports amount to around 340 million Euros, of which 100 million is from sugar alone.
An award bearing the same name, in the category of entrepreneurs who have successfully developed their business, was given to a company with equipment for cash operations “Viveks trejding” from Belgrade.
The “Business Planet” award for the executive director of a bank with the most significant project for corporate social responsibility was given to the executive director of UniCredit Bank, Claudio Cesario.
