We are launching a state-of-the-art alcohol production facility.

The Sunal alcohol factory in Kovačica is an investment worth 58 million euros, and it will produce 33 million liters of alcohol annually. The construction of this factory will contribute to Serbia becoming a significant net exporter of alcohol for the first time. Located in Kovačica, the Sunal alcohol factory will operate within the MK Bioprocessing division and will have the most modern technology at its disposal.

Alcohol production in three forms

The Sunal factory will produce alcohol in three forms – for food, pharmaceutical use and bioethanol. Corn will be used as a raw material for production, and it is planned to build and store this grain within the factory.
