More than thirty of the most successful pupils aged 10 to 13 from primary schools in Kosovo and Metohija are staying on Kopaonik from April 3 to April 8 as part of the traditional winter program that MK Group runs in cooperation with the Office for Kosovo and Metohija. This initiative, now in its fourteenth year, is part of the company’s long-term commitment to contributing through its socially responsible activities to the better upbringing and education of children.
During their stay at the Grand Kopaonik Hotel, a varied program has been prepared for the pupils, including sports, recreational and educational activities, taking advantage of the mountain environment and the amenities offered by the best-known hotel on our most beautiful mountain. Particular emphasis was placed on activities that encourage the development of healthy habits, mutual bonding and gaining new experiences outside the school environment. The top pupils from Kosovo and Metohija also had the opportunity this year to ski for the first time on Kopaonik and experience the finest charms of this winter sport.
“Every year we continue this initiative with great pleasure because we believe that investing in children and their education is the most important long-term investment. Our goal is not only to reward their effort and achievements, but also to provide them with space for new experiences, socializing and development. Through programs like this we want to make a concrete contribution to creating a safer and more supportive environment for growing up, and we are extremely proud of the excellent cooperation we have with the Office for Kosovo and Metohija,” said Aleksandra Stojanović, Director of Corporate Affairs at MK Group.
The Office for Kosovo and Metohija emphasizes that such programs are of special importance for children who grow up in difficult circumstances, as they provide an opportunity to connect with peers, develop new interests and create the most beautiful memories.

MK Group has for years developed corporate social responsibility programs focused on children and youth, with an emphasis on education. The winter program for pupils from Kosovo and Metohija is one of the longest-running projects, which year after year reaffirms the importance of continuous support for the youngest.
